SWSE Play It Forward hosted its annual Community Sports Day, bringing together families, youth, and sports enthusiasts for a day of fun and fitness. The event featured a range of activities designed to encourage participation and promote wellness across Greater Sudbury.

On a sunny Saturday afternoon, hundreds of community members gathered at the local sports complex to participate in the annual Community Sports Day. Organized by SWSE Play It Forward, the event offered something for everyone, from soccer clinics and basketball games to mindfulness workshops and wellness talks.

Volunteers and professional coaches worked together to make the day an unforgettable experience, fostering a sense of teamwork and community spirit. Children had the chance to learn new skills, while parents connected with others who share a passion for sports and wellness.

The event also served as a platform to raise awareness about SWSE Play It Forward’s grant programs, which support initiatives that improve access to sports and recreation. The day concluded with a friendly soccer match between local youth teams, leaving everyone inspired and energized. Plans are already underway for next year’s event, which promises to be even bigger and better!
