In collaboration with local schools, SWSE Play It Forward is launching a series of wellness programs designed to promote physical fitness and mental health among students. These programs will include interactive workshops, sports clinics, and mindfulness sessions led by expert coaches and facilitators.

The partnership between SWSE Play It Forward and local schools is a testament to the foundation’s mission to create opportunities for young people to thrive. The wellness programs will combine physical activities such as team sports, yoga, and fitness challenges with educational sessions focused on mental health, nutrition, and mindfulness.

Through these initiatives, students will gain access to tools and resources that can improve their overall well-being and help them develop healthy habits for life. The first program is set to launch at Sudbury Secondary School later this month, with plans to expand to multiple schools across the district throughout the year.

By incorporating sports clinics led by professional coaches and mindfulness workshops facilitated by mental health experts, these programs are designed to be holistic and inclusive. SWSE Play It Forward invites parents, educators, and community members to participate in shaping these programs and ensuring their success. Together, we can help our students build resilience, confidence, and a sense of community.
