Rules of Play for 50/50 Raffle

1. Ticket purchasers must be 18 years of age or older to enter the Play it Forward / Sudbury Wolves — 50/50 Electronic Raffle.
2. The ticket purchaser must be in the province of Ontario at the time of ticket purchase.
3.    In-game selling to begin 1 hour before game starts.
4. Location: Sudbury Community Arena — 31 Larch St, Unit 200, Sudbury, ON P3E 1B7. The raffle will close after the 2nd intermission of the Sudbury Wolves game. The winning number will be announced during the 3rd period and posted online at sudburywolves.com. The next raffle will open immediately following the previous game.
5. Tickets are available for purchase at the following prices: 5 for $5.00 — 10 for $10.00 — 100 for $20.00.
6. Tickets will be available online for purchase at playitforward5050.com.
7. To purchase an online ticket in the Raffle, you must supply us with certain personal information (such as name, home address details, date of birth, payment card details, and e-mail address). Certain information (name, home address details, date of birth, and e-mail address) may be shared with Ascend FS Canada Ltd. (“Ascend”) to process your request to purchase a raffle ticket. By purchasing a ticket, you consent to us sharing this information with Ascend. For more information on Ascend’s privacy policy, please see https://www.ascendfs.com/privacy-policy.
8. Tickets will be sold using the electronic raffle system supplied by Ascend Fundraising Solutions.
9. For those raffle tickets purchased in person, patrons will be given by the sellers a receipt with their 50/50 registered numbers from a Random Selection System. No specific numbers can be given as numbers are generated randomly. It is the responsibility of the ticket purchaser to ensure that they receive their tickets, however, purchasers do not need their tickets in hand to be included in the draw. If you have not received your ticket(s), please contact Michael Cullen at 705-929-9892 or via email at michaelcullen01@yahoo.ca.
10. The winning ticket number will be selected by Random Number Generator (RNG), from all raffle ticket numbers sold during the designated raffle period.
11. The prize amount of the 50/50 will be posted and displayed on the in-arena monitors, score clock, and public announcer updates during the games.
12. The winning number will be announced via the in-arena public address announcer, score clock, and on sudburywolves.com and swseplayitforward.ca websites.
13. If the patron with the winning ticket number is at the event where the number has been drawn, they may then come to the Play it Forward / Sudbury Wolves administration office, 31 Larch St., Unit 200, Sudbury, ON P3E 1B7 to claim their prize.
14. If the winner is not in attendance at the event, or does not wish to claim their prize immediately, they may claim their prize by contacting the Play it Forward / Sudbury Wolves office or by email at info@swseplayitforward.ca. The winner will be paid by cheque for the amount posted at the event. Winners must have the original winning ticket and no copies.
15. The winning ticket holder has 6 months to claim their prize from the date of the draw.
16. Winners will be required to provide their full name, address, and phone number upon claiming their prize. Once the certified winner is verified, they will be given a cheque with the amount of the declared prize which is, at minimum, 50% of the total sales for that event. If the winner cannot provide a photo ID, then the winning proceeds will be held until such identification can be provided.
17. If no winner comes forward, prizes will be secured for six (6) months following the draw. Unclaimed prizes will be reported to the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario and a charitable donation will be made to another organization, under the approval of the AGCO.
18. The following people are not eligible to participate in the Play it Forward 50/50 draws: Tim Laderoute, Jennifer Booth, Rob Dennis, Dario Zulich, Debbie Burant, Andrea Zulich, Sheena Alexander, Terry Moss, and Michael Cullen.
19. All orders will be processed and fulfilled using the Ascend Fundraising Solutions raffle management system. In the event of any discrepancy, the records of Ascend Fundraising Solutions shall be deemed correct and final. Play it Forward / Sudbury Wolves is responsible for the conduct and management of the raffle. The liability of the licensee shall be limited to the purchase price of the ticket.
20. The above set of Rules will be posted at each event.
